Is your puppy ready to begin their lifelong journey learning how to live obediently with humans?
This class is focused on the young puppy between 4 and 6 months old. The best time to start training your puppy the human life rules is now! not when the puppy is 1 year old and fully grown.
Over the course of 5 group lessons, you’ll learn how to begin communicating clearly with your puppy utilizing a language the puppy knows. We will begin the development of a clear relationship with your young pup through a guided experience of teaching essential life rules.
A strong focus will be on developing engagement through verbal 'markers' and creating a clear, trusting relationship with your puppy.
When focused engagement is established we can then begin teaching your puppy basic obedience beginning with proper leash handling, sits, downs and the most important command; come.
With small class sizes, each puppy gets the attention they need to thrive in a structured environment. This class will equip you with the tools needed for building a strong foundation in obedience and beginning to have a clear relationship with your puppy.

Recommended for puppies 4-6 months old (some exceptions apply)

- Balanced training approach: positive and negative markers, application of correction to train life rules, praise and using tone of voice for emotion training, positive reinforcement through treats and play, play rules
- Focus on basic obedience, relationship development, active engagement, and supervised social exposure without contact
- All puppies must have proof of 3 vaccinations including Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza (we require a scan as proof upon the time of payment and booking)
- Bring: a 6 foot leash with handle, collar (martingale or strong flat collar), soft toy, treats enough for 2 meals and bring your dog hungry and ready to engage for their food!
