Fireballs Malinois name came from a love for Shepherd dogs and good ole Canadian Fireball 'Girl' Whiskey. Fireballs Malinois is founded, owned and managed by BC Born and raised, Christine Kisser, 2 times top 5 World Champion IGP Dog Trainer. Christine produces maximum 1 litter per year or less and raises each puppy in her home with the love and attention they need to be stable dogs in an unstable world. Bred for protection sports and working dog service homes, Christine carefully selects homes for her pups after learning each puppies temperament and meeting prospective new handlers. We hope you love our dogs as much as we do!

What people are saying about Fireballs Malinois

I have been coached by Christine, purchased many items from ruffdogsports.com and most recently, a malinois pup from Fireballs Kennel.  It has all been positive. The coaching is clear and concise, for both dog and handler. The quality shows in the results!  Top notch, reliable gear, a and the same to be said for customer service.Cannot say enough about the quality of my pup. She is everything a healthy, happy well bred malinois should be. These pups were raised humanely and ethically. Christine earns her kibble!  Highly recommend both Ruffdog Sports and Fireballs Kennel for working dogs and their equipment.

I’ve had Malinois my entire adult life and can’t say enough good things about Christine and the 2 Fireballs we have! While our male is casually building for sport and living his best life under the wing of our 13 year old ranch patriarch, our female Fireball is actively building in IGP and is a force to be reckoned with. She’s been putting my son to bed since she was 10 weeks old and leaving no crumbs on the protection field at the same time. These dogs are balanced, socially and environmentally stable, with high prey and defensive drives. They are the true definition of “Mali-cats” and have been a pleasure to have in the house as pets but also bring everything you could want to the training field. Thank you Christine for trusting us with your dogs! Pictured - Fireballs Elektra at 15 mos

I've been a breeder and trainer of protection and hunting dogs for 30 years and I can say beyond question the best dog I've owned came from Fireballs Kennels. It's not by accident either. These dogs are strategically performance bred, and performance proven. My boy Doc Holliday is very unique in that he is highly intelligent and intuitive. He's a bit handler sensitive which I like. If somebody doesn't know what they're doing they might not appreciate a dog with this temperament. They actually want to work for you. They are not these wild out of control manic dogs that everybody talks about. He spends most of his time lounging around the house and looking for attention from my kids. He is very sound, loud noises and other situations that trigger most dogs don't phase him. I can slap a harness on him and take him through the most crowded airport and he will curl up in a ball on my feet in economy class. But make no mistake, when it's time to work he knows his job. Due to life circumstances I was unable to train regularly with him for almost a year. He hadn't seen a decoy in at least nine months. I pulled him out of the truck at one of Mike Lorraine's Effective engagement Police K9 seminars and he stole the show. Mike wanted to demonstrate what soundness and control andhis training looked like.I asked Mike "are you sure?, I haven't done anything with him since you worked with him almost a year ago.!" Mike smiled and said "don't worry man you're going to have the coolest dog there."My boy did not disappoint. He launched into a deep full mouth bite and released instantly the first time without hesitation... every timeI think the biggest thing that everybody freaked out about was the fact that I didn't need a leash for him..once the switch was flipped off he walked next to me like a golden retriever. Everybody talks about an on and off switch but I've yet to see anything like it.A million bucks could not buy this dog from me.

I got my first Malinois pup from Fireballs Malinois in January and couldn’t be happier. Christine has been amazing and super helpful throughout the entire process. In our first conversation, we discussed the type of lifestyle I live and the plans I have for the pup, and she then selected three different pups that she felt would best suit my lifestyle and plans. She has been quick to reply to any questions or concerns I’ve had since bringing my little Fireball home, and it has been super helpful, especially during the first week while she settled in. My pup has been very loving and cuddly but is also very willing to work for either her toys or food. During our training sessions throughout the day, she shows her intelligence and willingness to work, having no issues learning what we are working on at the time. As I said before, I couldn’t be happier with the entire process, from communication to picking the pup and with the pup herself. I would highly recommend Fireball Malinois to anyone looking for a high-quality dog.

I am so incredibly proud to own my Fireballs C Litter Cherry Bomb. I met Christine a little over a year ago with a planned puppy on the way from another breeder. I had been dreaming about owning a Malinois forever. The moment I met her dogs I knew something was different. I had heard about “off switches” and the importance of a balanced Malinois but it wasn’t until I met Cherry’s father Jack that I 100% got it. I was in love. I am constantly complimented at how calm, affectionate and composed Cherry is in my home setting and yet she is fire on the field. She is my Velcro dog that only wants to please and be where I am. She is everything I could have hoped for in a working dog. Powerful and aware of me. This is the standard. I feel that I have found family and community in finding Fireballs. Christine adores her dogs. She knows her dogs and she respects her dogs. She has been there for me every step of the way as a new IGP handler and new puppy owner. She is patient with me as I fumble my way through this sport. We brainstorm, talk and work through each challenge step by step. Her expertise and coaching is firm yet assuring. I have so much peace that I have found not only the right dog for me but the right breeder/coach for our journey.

Christine is the best breeder and trainer that we have ever dealt with. She answered our million questions pre purchase and has been beyond supportive since we acquired our Malinois from her. We did ALOT of research and talked to quite a few breeders and Christine was the only one we felt truly comfortable getting a dog from. She is super knowledgeable and cares deeply for her dogs. Christine picked out the PERFECT dog for our family! She is everything we hoped for and more! We have a busy family with 2 young kids, another large dog, small rodents and a bird and Ruby has taken it all in stride. She is full energy (like Malinois's are) but has an off switch when she comes in the home. Whether she is out on long runs with me, hiking the woods with the family or just hanging in the yard with the kids, she is always listening and alert to her family. We always feel safe with her around; she runs toward anything with no fear, but has amazing recall. Ruby is beyond brilliant and training her has been a breeze. We will definitely be acquiring another Malinois from Christine and Fireballs Kennel.

I have a C litter female pup from Christine and I couldn’t be happier! Cinnamon is willing to do anything work wise and has excelled in a number of sports. We’re currently focusing on disc, French ring, nosework, and working towards our IGP BH. Cinnamon is the sweetest dog and has a great off switch when it’s not work time and will happily snuggle. Christine is always available for help and support and loves to get updates. Cyna’s OFA results came back excellent hips and normal elbows which were ecstatic about . We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this fantastic dog

Christine was recommended to me by my trainer when I was looking for a puppy. I committed to a male from her current litter and she went out of her way to keep me posted with pictures and videos. Almost a year later, I could not be happier with this decision. Bodhi is absolutely everything a well bred malinois should be: strong, confident, intelligent, driven as well as structurally and mentally sound. The fact that he is gorgeous is just a bonus. But honestly, it has been Christine’s support and guidance that truly set her apart. I am by no measure an experienced handler and I would not be having the level of success I am with Bodhi without her assistance and instruction. I was so impressed with her help as the “breeder” that I ended up working with her through formal video training sessions and the experience has been mind blowing. The benefit of learning from not just a world level competitor but from the person who trained both parents is invaluable. I highly recommend her as both a breeder and a trainer.
