Luca's an 80 lb hound from Bethlehem, Judaea. Besides being an untrained hunting/guarding hound, he had PTSD, which has diminished but not disappeared in the year we've been together. We divide our time between leash walks and off-leash in my big, woodsy backyard. This ball is Luca's favorite prey object. I tell him "Luca. Get It!" and toss/throw/roll the ball. Luca runs after it, grabs it in his teeth and shakes it to death and then brings it back to me. He's wild for it. I combine play with lots of off-leash obedience. Once or twice a day, regardless of the weather. Although he's improved immensely, leash walks aren't easy for him, so when we come back home, we head to the backyard. Get It is one of our major activities. This ball is extremely well made. Seems impervious to moisture and mud. Easy to clean. I'm thinking of buying a medium size one. Highly recommended.
