Our founder and Master dog trainer, Christine Kisser has been training and competing in IGP Schutzhund with working breeds for over 25 years. Christine believes that every dog owner should have the tools needed to train their own dog. Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment and training the dog is a fundamental part of fostering a harmonious relationship and advanced obedience.
We offer various formats for the ultimate learning experience with every handler and dog team. We will guide you how to train your dog to live with clear rules in a human world as well as a high emphasis on obedience using a balanced and realistic approach, both at home and in the world.
Each dog has a unique learning style, therefore, it is essential for every dog owner to learn how to interpret their dog’s body language and communicate to their dog in its learning style with a strong emphasis put on each dogs natural working instincts.
We understand the high importance of teaching the handler how to establish a clear relationship with their puppy. A clear relationship develops a dog that wants to please their handler not a dog that works only for food or a collar. When the relationship is clear the obedience training is fun and easy.
In obedience lessons we teach the handler shaping, showing and luring skills to teach obedience behaviours. Each handler will also master appropriate leash skills, verbal markers and effective praise and verbal markers and cues. We employ a diverse range of training techniques to ensure the success of every dog, including:

All Private Dog Training Lessons start with the STEP 1 Introduction to Balanced Dog Obedience Training & Relationship Development class.
