The Monsoon raincoat for dogs is an essential piece of gear for every dog in rainy, windy or muddy weather. Its collar seams are vertical, allowing the collar to be taped so that it is fully waterproof.  

In addition, there is a rain collar made of waterproof tricot around the edge of the collar, preventing water from going inside the coat along the dog's neck. The comfortably soft collar can be tightened up around the dog's neck to protect the chest and neck area.

The large, attractive reflective prints on the coat's rear hem and the 3M reflector piping on the back improve safety and visibility in the dark. The excellent sizing of the Monsoon coat guarantees a good fit for most breeds. The wide belly flap keeps the coat in place, ensuring that it stays on without restricting the dog's movement, even during boisterous play. The flap covers the dog's belly and efficiently protects it from mud and sand. Monsoon is made of an elastic and silent fabric, so it is comfortable to use and quick to put on.

Easy to put on

This is a very well-made coat. Ordered a 22" for my lab mix and it fits perfectly. Love that it is made of soft material and not stiff or 'noisy' like other waterproof coats. Easy to put on and take off.

Love how adjustable

I love how adjustable everything is and it's so easy to put on! Seals out the rain really nicely and my dog stayed dry the whole hike! I liked that there was more freedom for leg movement with the Monsoon and I didn't notice any rubbing issues. I ordered the 24" for my lab/coonhound mix (55lbs) and it's a great fit.

Best dog coat

Hurtta hands down produces the best dog coats, whether you need it for rain or snow. The Monsoon coat covers them from behind their ears to the base of the tail, and includes rear leg straps to prevent the coat from flipping off their bums. The monsoon coat is a bit warmer than their other rain coat, meaning that not only is it a fantastic coat for the rain I will also be using it as a light jacket in the late fall/early winter until my poodle’s hair growth catches up to the winter. Depending on how long I let her grow her coat, I might be able to use it all winter!

Saved us hours

We live in the wet West Coast and this jacket is great for rainy walks. Not only does it keep all of his back and most of his thighs dry, it does a great job keeping his neck and collar from getting wet as well. His head, legs, 'armpits' and the lower belly are all we need to towel off after a walk. This is the second Monsoon coat that we have purchased - it's saved us hours of towelling off!
